Three Acts: A Sonoric Experiment


The Great Stinks turns to the residential bathroom as a scenorgraphic backdrop to critically retell the story of architectural hygiene, the plumbing elements and code that instrumentalize it. In the process, the research transform standard plumbing instruments of disruption and affect, reimaging acceptable sounds, props, and sets that shape private space and the activity it sponsors.

Act 1- Water is The Enemy

Act 2- The Tyranny of Hygiene

on site waste management system (medium density and dirty experience), reimaging triple decker housing as a set for on site waste management


Act 3- Poop Travels

aggregating the experiment at an urban scale.
