Domesticized Bathroom



History: vacating waste from the elevation to interior poche.

  1. Not linked to the sewage system: the loo itself was simply a bucket that had to be periodically emptied.
  2. From fixture attached to the architecture to an extension of architecture

History: moving the outhouse in, and its impacts on densification.

  1. Urbanization, toilet still started with outside of building body. However, they are covered in the outdoor space of the building. It was that it was not linked to the sewage system
  2. With sewage system, population become denser, the toilet, with other fixtures, stacked vertically together and merging into the building body.
